How many pictures will we receive?
That totally depends on you! I have multiple collections available to choose from and a a la carte menu.
How should we dress for our family session?
Don't worry! I will send you a detailed style guide that will help you to choose your outfits!! A quick general rule of thumb is to wear solid neutral colors. Stay away from neon colors or clothes with busy patterns, logos, picture's etc. If you love my pictures then a BIG part of the look is how you style your wardrobe for the pictures. I also have a female client closet for sizes from newborn up to adult.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Newborns are best to photograph in the first two weeks of life if you want the sleepy newborn pictures. However, i do not currently offer wrapped or posed newborn sessions only lifestyle newborn sessions which take place in your home or at a beautiful Airbnb.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely! I guide and direct you the entire session. We try different poses and I have you do various prompted tasks during the session to help get that natural look. Lots of cuddling involved and games for the little kiddos.
I love those sunset pictures from your website! How do we get those?
Simple! Just tell me you want sunset pictures and we will make it happen! These sessions happen approximately 30 minutes before sunset. You must be flexible with your dates as I need the sun for these pictures. Its possible these sessions may be moved multiple times depending on the weather.
Do you travel???
Yes! I will travel to you! Travel fees apply to locations 30 plus miles outside of zip code 19565.
What happens if there is supposed to be bad weather during my session?
We reschedule your session for all severe weather. Sunset sessions get rescheduled for cloudy and rainy weather as well. I typically do not reschedule for light rain or snow.
My child does not like to hold still for long. Will we still get good pictures?
I am a mother of 6 children myself and completely understand that children do not to like to hold still for long. I try my hardest to get the best pictures possible for you and your family. When I start to see a child getting restless or see they are having a hard time I switch things up. I may play a game like red light green light or tell them to go explore etc. Some of the best pictures are candid pictures of children being themselves!
What is the best time of day for outdoor pictures?
The best time of day for outdoor pictures is 1 hour before sunset or what photographers call the "Golden hour".
